  • Abstract:  Three strikes and you're out! The third version of Windows Phone -- Windows Phone 8 -- finally adds basic compatibility with corporate Exchange server security settings, but not much else. Despite an initiall...

  • Abstract:  If you can't be bothered reading a mammoth review, perhaps this video review showing off most of the features of the Windows Phone 8X by HTC is more suited for you. Check out the beautiful curves and color of the smartphone in action, as well as a brief l...

  • Abstract:  The majority of the software that comes bundled with the HTC Windows Phone 8X is, of course, Windows Phone 8, and the built in software that comes as part of the OS. What I want to talk about here is the extra software that HTC have included in this "sign...

  • Before the Windows Phone 8X by HTC was released, I was kind of leaning toward the Nokia Lumia 920 for the sheer amount of bells and whistles that Finland managed to pack in or the Samsung ATIV S for its massive screen and upgradeable storage. But after...

  • Abstract:  While Nokia has been busy turning heads with the Lumia 920, HTC has quietly produced a decent Windows Phone in the 8X. The Lumia 920 touts an 8.7MP camera with optical stabilization and Pureview technology. And while the 8X's camera may sound meager in co...

  • There's seriously a lot to love about the hardware of the Windows Phone 8X by HTC. The colorful, textured design is stunning to look at and beautiful to hold, while the inclusion of the 720p Super LCD 2 again reminds us that it's one of the best displa...

  • Abstract:  The new Windows Phone 8X is rather impressive. Straight out of the box, the 8X catches your eye with the rather striking design, which blends in the edges and the curves rather well. The polycarbonate build is just brilliant. Carrying on with the positive...

  • The weight, slim profile, Super LCD screen, BEATS Audio, NFC Support, healthy battery life, respectable camera with BSI sensor.
  • Random resets, new aspect ratio that isn't ideal for older apps/games, battery drain present with some devices, capacitive buttons can be overly sensitive, and occasional lag with the front facing camera
  • All told, the HTC 8X is an excellent Windows Phone that will appeal to many. HTC really needs to address the random resets and battery issues though. Should you be in the market for a slim, light weight Windows Phone, the 8X is worth considering. RelatedW...
