Huawei's aiming big with its brand new flagship
With a refreshed focus on looks and what's packed in under the hood. This is a high-end smartphone
Packing in top-notch hardware and a sleek and slim design to boot too. On top
You'll find a five-inch full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 445 pixels per inch - that positions it closely with other rivals such as the HTC One (M8) and Galaxy S

Slightly cheap feel and often awkward Android skin means it doesn't really do anything to put itself above the competition
Weak processor for the price
Quirky software doesn't hit the mark

Intruisive interface
Underpowered
Despite Huawei's best efforts with the hardware
Where the P7 falls apart is with its custom skin
Known as Emotion UI. Huawei has tried its best to imitate Apple's iOS 7
Right down to the lack of an app drawer
And the result is disappointing. While there are also various themes to choose from
Some of which look even more like iOS
Some aspects of Emotion UI still remain the same
And that giv

Regularly lacks fluidity and responsiveness
Not enough battery life for a multimediaoriented phone
Squared design wont appeal to everyone. Not quite as powerful as rivals from HTC
Very good build, Timeless design, Stiffness, Very bright IPS screen, High resolution, Good connectivity
SoC could be faster, Only middling application performance, Slightly outdated graphics chip, Non-removable battery, Slow Wi-Fi, Somewhat poor black level and contrast, Battery runtimes, Only middling camera modules and speaker
Huawei does not penetrate the top-of-the-line smartphone sector with its Ascend P7. It simply lacks the first rate components, such as a competitively swift SoC with a high-performance graphics chip. The elegant, timeless design and the excellent build wo...

Excellent screen quality, Surprisingly good front camera, Inexpensive
Battery life, Huawei's Emotion UI copies too much from other designs
The Huawei Ascend P7 is a great inexpensive smartphone. It might not have all the high-end features of the competition, but overall it is a great alternative to the premium Android handsets available...

Its slow processor, slightly cheap feel and often awkward Android skin means it doesn't really do anything to put itself above the competition
Although the Ascend P7 is certainly skinny and not too expensive, its unimpressive power and sometimes awkward interface makes it an acceptable -- albeit uninspiring choice. If you can find the P7 on a subsidised contract at a good price then it's worth ...
Thin, light, nicely designed and very well constructed. Rear camera is pretty good in all situations and it has the best front facing camera we've seen to date. Battery life is decent.
The software experience isn't befitting of the hardware that houses it. Too often things get jerky and laggy either in Huawei's own apps or just jumping in and out of thirdparty ones
The Huawei Ascend P7 is a phone I would use every day if the software experience was where you'd expect it to be. Whether it's for lack of optimization for the in-house chips powering the phone or something else is irrelevant. It completely spoils the exp...
Elegant, slim design, Sharp and customizable display, Aboveaverage front and back cameras, Wideranging LTE support
Overheats quickly, Subpar performance compared to current flagships, Fixed soft keys take up space
The Huawei Ascend P7 is a surprisingly capable alternative to the usual flagships, and it arrives at a slight discount. It could stand to be stronger, but its design, display, and camera software all bring something fresh to the Android table....
Simplistic elegance, Easy to handle, Great 5 inch display, Powerful front facing camera
Design doesn't quite stand out, Rear facing speaker easily stifled, Main camera is average fair, Software experience is inconsistent7
7.5 The Huawei Ascend P7 is the best phone Huawei has made, but falls short of really differentiating itself from the titans of the smartphone game. A great front facing camera compliments a decent rear facing shooter, and an accessible software experien...
We knew that the Huawei Ascend P7 and the Oppo Find 7a, along with their 13MP cameras, had plenty of potential, but we didn't expect them to be this good. We were surprised by all the detail that the Find 7a captured in its photos, while the images fro...

The Huawei Ascend P7 is an impressive smartphone. Huawei has taken the P6 and improved it in many ways but still kept a reasonable price tag. We're impressed but look out for a full review soon....
As the flagship mode this year, the P7's performance is worthy to pay attention: other of the inheritance of P6's thin and shape, the P7's system runs more fluent and smooth, more humanized and the performance is promoted. 13MP + 8MP cameras can both fit...
