Android phones continue to lead the smartphone pack when it comes to downright ludicrous screen sizes
And while the G2 isn't the biggest out there
It's still something of a whopper
Running almost edge to edge with minimal bezel. At 5.2-inches from corner to corner
The full HD IPS+ panel offers a pixel density of 424 ppi - putting aside the technical mumbo-jumbo for a moment

The display is fantastic
The battery life as good as we've seen on a smartphone in a long while and it's got plenty of juice in the engine

The G2's rear-mounted Power and Volume keys are likely to divide opinion - LG claims they rest in a more natural position but we found they take a bit of getting used to. It's also fair to say that the handset isn't the most attractive Android blower available right now. It's certainly far from ugly
But it doesn't have the same head-turning quality that the HTC One and iPhone 5S have. Android 4.
The design is a little bland and the backside buttons take a little getting used to
Impressive processor that yields equally impressive results, big Full HD edgetoedge screen, light and strong unibody design
No expandable memory, no removable battery, fixed homescreen with instructional panels
If you're looking for a high-end Android phone that offers a big, bright display you can use without stretching the tendons in your hand, the G2 is pretty much ideal. The G2 sports more screen than its main Android rivals, and yet remains...

The best LG smartphone ever? You betcha. Better than HTC and Samsung's top guns? Not quite – but the G2 definitely hits the upper echelons of the Android hierarchy....
Brilliant specs, great camera, high resolution display, innovative features, strong battery life.
Plastic build, no micro SD card slot.
The LG G2 is probably the best phone on the planet right now. It combines top flight specs with a great camera and even better display alongside a wealth of innovative features. It even has good battery life...

We’ve arrived at IFA later than everyone else, but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to get our own grubby mitts on all that there is to offer — and first off comes LG’s flagship, the device it launched over in New York earlier this month — the G2.Design...

Quirky buttons take getting used to, Plastic back is a little bland
We can't remember ever being particularly excited about an LG phone, but the G2 changed that when its specs were released, and to our great amazement the G2 is just as brilliant in the flesh as it is on paper. It dispatches its arc...
Abstract: LG 's G2 is the company's answer to Samsung's Galaxy S4. Packing the latest Snapdragon 800 processor and a top of the line 5.2-inch Full HD display, it's quite the handset. LG has taken a slightly ...

Abstract: LG has, for some time, been making rather nice phones that have been largely ignored by everyone. We loved the Optimus 2X and thought it was one of the smarter additions to the Android phone world that we'd seen. It was only with the Nexus 4 that the firm...

The G2 is easily a competitor for every other high-end smartphone out there. The "weird" button layout works for us, and it's paired with some smart touch functions that are well thought out. The phone looks and feels great, and just works as a smartphone...
Abstract: LG has never made any really significant waves in the smartphone market (excluding the Nexus 4), but it aims to change this with the new LG G2 . It will take on the big guns including Korean rival Samsung so we take a look at the two in our Samsung Galaxy...
Abstract: After numerous rumours and official teases from LG itself, the LG G2 has been announced and it sits proudly at the top of the Korean manufacturer's Android smartphone range. It boasts a mighty set of specifications, enough to not only put the phone in th...
