Like or loath the Nokia N8's styling
There's no debating the quality on offer here. It's constructed almost entirely from anodised aluminium
And is incredibly tough. A glass screen adds to the quality
And it's a smartphone that can easily withstand daily knocks and drops. It's the 12-Megapixel camera that really stands out on the Nokia N8
However. It's quite simply the best camera we've seen

But it can't compete with similar handsets

The Nokia N8 may have an all new operating system
But like older touchscreen Nokias it's still clunky compared to offerings from Apple and Android. That said
It's a lot faster than older handsets
And there are lots of new apps on offer from the Ovi Store.
Symbian still isn't competitive
Interface still retro in aesthetics. Web browsing lacks panache
