Durable design & build quality, Shatter resistant display, Excellent battery life, Still a Galaxy S7
Only available on AT&T, Expensive, Bad speaker quality
The Galaxy S7 Active is the closest thing you can get to a truly rugged phone with high-end flagship specs. At it's worst, the Active is still just a Galaxy S7. But at it's best, it's something a little more...
Abstract: Four generations ago, Samsung's Active lineup was more of a device for clumsy people. A Galaxy S looking phone that could resist a little more, so long as you read the instructions well. The last two generations have instead been about telling the world t...

Highend hardware The S7 Active uses exactly the same hardware specs as the Galaxy S7, with the obvious exception of its case and battery. The phone is quite expensive, but it can't be said that you don't get what you pay for in comparison to other Samsung

Audio for calls sounds muffled, non-AT&T customers are out of luck, pricey
The S7 Active is not nearly as sleek and thin as the S7, but it's still quite attractive for such a rugged phone. And if you ask us, it's also a lot less masculine in design then its predecessors, especially the gold model. Just in time for summer, the Ga...

Abstract: The Galaxy S7 is one of the best smartphones you can buy, but it's not for everyone. The glass-and-metal design is slim and attractive, but also somewhat fragile. The S7 Active packages the S7's features into a tougher, more resilient piece of hardware th...
Not for the styleconcscious, Battery life leaves something to be desired, Pricier than the regular GS7, AT&T exclusive
Samsung's Galaxy S Active phones have long held their own against the mainstream Galaxy S handsets, and that's more true this year than ever before. With performance that's right on par with the Galaxy S7, the same killer features like that incredible cam...
