Superb build quality with uncommon and useful elements (focus ring notch, ArcaSwiss compatible foot), Excellent center sharpness at all apertures, Smooth and creamy bokeh, No chromatic aberration, Beautiful rendering with rich colors, Well dampened focus
Some vignetting on full frame, Hood and tripod ring's quality not on par with the rest of the lens, Soft corners at wider apertures, Flare and ghosting present at all apertures, Comparatively large size
There is a lot to like about the Irix 150mm F2.8 Macro, and little to criticizes. This is a lens which delivers on expectations, and sometimes exceeds them.Be sure to check the user reviews or post your own if you already own this lens...

very good image quality in the frame centre, good image quality on the edge of the frame both on APSC/DX and FF, solid, sealed, stylish casing, lack of longitudinal chromatic aberration, excellent correction of lateral chromatic aberration, zero distortio

Great build quality, Attractive pricing, Solid image quality
Focal length too long for some, Focus ring overly sensitive

Considering that we couldn't attach the lens to a camera to test it, we're still pretty surprised at how lightweight and well built the IRIX 150mm f2.8 Dragonfly Macro Lens feels. Many of their previous products have been fantastic in one way or another a...
