  • Whilst there is no doubt that Zalman has produced a chassis of outstanding quality there are a few niggles. The add-on card plates at the back are the first of these, especially when it’s likely to be enthusiasts who buy the Fatal1ty FC-ZE1, and for...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: If you're looking for a thick aluminum mid-tower ATX case, than the Zalman Fatal1ty FC-ZE1 Champ1on case might fit the bill. It is not for everyone though, since is has excess branding, cautionary warnings and instructions printed all over it. It comes with four external 5.25" drive bays, one external 3.5", and three internal 3.5" drive bays. There are three fans; two 92mm fans at the front and one 120mm at the back. It also has a window and a hinged door on the left side. Unfortunately, all this comes at a very high price. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.

  • Abstract:  The Fatal1ty-branded FC-ZE1 case is one heckuva sturdy container for your electronic essentials, but it’ll take a railgun to your bank account. We’re just a little hesitant to recommend the FC-ZE1 to everyone: The case is covered with logos and labels,...

  • Materials, construction techniques, and build quality are excellent, Clean, aggressive styling, Black anodized finish inside and out, Easy to use, vibration damping HDD cage, Excellent front panel layout, Included cooling fans with red LEDs, Good airfl
  • No internal power supply support bracket, Heavy (not too LAN Party friendly)
  • Going into this review I had high hopes for Zalman’s new Fatal1ty enclosure – and I still do! In spite of a few rough edges I really like this case. Overall, it is a very good chassis with just the right balance of clean lines...

  • Thick aluminum panels, Tool-less anti-vibration Hard Drive bays, Anti-vibration rubber feet and rubber grommets on fans, Extra Allen screws provided in case you lose some.
  • Door cannot be removed.
  • This case has been bitter - sweet in so many ways. It has 5mm thick aluminum panels which make it feel like a tank in terms of durability, but it has so many other things that go against it. While the front aluminum bezel exudes quality, the fact th...

  • Well, I will start with the good but unfortunately, not much is good about the Fatal1ty case. I credit Zalman for using an all-aluminum construction, but 5mm thick? A waste of money and it makes the case extremely heavy. The front bezel layout is nice....

  • Man, how do I sum up a case with so many little things that really bugged me? Well Ill do my best. First Ill start with the dislikes that I can think of right this minute. The side panel door not removable is a huge downer in my opinion. This cas...

  • Topquality design and materials, Robust construction, Innovative HDD cage, Excellent cooling, Easy installation, Quiet, Three red LED fans included, Sleek, sexy front panel, Great looks
  • Expensive!, Limited availability (so far)
  • Zalmans association with Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel has yielded yet another outstanding product. The FC-ZE1 Champion Series computer enclosure is a superb chassis with great aesthetics and the performance to back it up. The design, quality, c...
