The editors liked

  • Great performance from Broad-well
  • Variable models to suit a range of needs
  • 4K support
  • And great connectivity - "usb ports galore"
  • Super SFF mini PC
  • Low price
  • Tiny form factor
  • VESA mounts
  • Mini DisplayPort as well as HDMI
  • Four USB 3.0 ports
  • Very quiet
  • Low power draw and very little heat

The editors didn't like

  • It doesen't come in pink! Jokes aside
  • My one dislike? Was that I couldn't find more things I didn't like about the Cubi
  • Intel HD 5500 graphics are an obvious bottleneck in performance
  • Core i3 will never produce the snap of Core i5 or Core i7.

  • Starting with the build quality and design of the MSI Cubi we have no concerns. The system feels solid, is finished well and has a decent port layout. Access to the inside for upgrading components is very easy, just four screws, and we really like that MS...

  • The Cubi brings lot's of interesting features to the table, the first and most important I've decided to highlight. Is the small size of the product, whilst still boasting the ability for expansion with the use of an additional 2.5″ drive. But one feature...

  • Huge amount of expandability, relatively cheap alternative to Intel's NUC, looks gorgeous.
  • Can be a bit challenging to get to work on certain monitors, SATA ribbon port feels flimsy
