  • The Gainward 8800GT is a "generic" version of nVIDIAs 8800GT series. It has 600MHz core, 900MHz memory and 1500MHz shader clock frequencies. This gives an indication of its relative performance level compared with other 8800GT based cards that come ...

  • Abstract:  NVIDIAs 8800 series has been around for almost a year now, and has established itself as a leader in market sales in the high-end segment. A lot of this success is due to the introduction of an affordable 8800GTS 320. The 8800GT is a successor to this...

  • Gainward and Nvidia did a great job with the 8800GT. Nvidia offers a lot to gamers, and the price of €250 is just right. The card can even go head to head with 8800GTX, but only until you turn Antialiasing and Anisotropic filtering; due to its 256 bi...

  • This is a fixed G80. Nuff' said. It beats 2900XT, 8800GTS 320 and 640MB, and even 8800GTX in some cases. This card has enough horsepower for games, but do not expect performance FullHD in with single card in every game. Brilliant piece for Crysis, Hellgate and UT3.
  • Drivers are green at this time, install those that are shipped on CDs, since rushed Crysis-demo beta driver does not warrant stability. 256-bit bus could become a bottleneck in next batch of games, VP processor could have been newer VP3 and not VP2 And the UglySingle-slot cooling may be cool, but our board heated up significantly. Temperature was always in high-60 (Celsius) range, overclocking ca
