  • Compact; easy to use; convert recordings to watch on iPad, iPod or iPhone
  • No DVB-T2 support so no Freeview HD; mini antenna poor in weak signal areas
  • The only real downer with this product is that it doesn't currently support Freeview HD, which uses the new DVB-T2 broadcast standard

  • Elgatos EyeTV DTT Deluxe retails for £60/€80, which we reckon is pretty good value given the quality of the software it comes with - EyeTV remains the best Mac DVR app out there by far. If you already have a tuner, Elgato will soon sell you the Delux...
