  • The Fatal1ty 1010 mouse from Creative is an interesting contrast to the Logitech G5 Laser mouse I reviewed a month ago. The first thing is the size of the mouse being much smaller than the G5. After a short adjustment period the mouse worked just as we...

  • Comfortable feel; interchangeable weights; responsive tracking; easily adjustable sensitivity; neat color-changing light on sensitivity switch.
  • Difficult-to-press thumb button; oversensitive third-finger button; very short cord.
  • The Creative Fatal1ty 1010 has useful features such as swappable weights and adjustable sensitivity levels, but subtle design flaws keep it from becoming our favorite.

  • Smooth and precise motion;adjustable weight; extra finger button.
  • Slightly awkward shape; simplistic software; cord too short.

  • Abstract:  What more could you want from a mouse other than being able to plot X and Y co-ordinates and register button input? Quite a lot really, as Apple users learned when they looked down the business end of the Mighty Mouse. Gamers have been enjoying the bou...
