  • Abstract:  The feature that sums up the DP55KG is the Back2Bios button on the I/O panel. If your PC completely and utterly locks up you can press the button and guarantee to boot into the Bios set-up. It’s not exciting but it is superb insurance.

  • Abstract:  It’s been few months since AnandTech featured a P55 board review, but while Intel is expanding on their high-end with $1,100 Core i7 980X CPU’s, their low-to-mid-range P55 platform is still the one on most people’s radars. Today we’re looking at two I...

  • Despite the top positioning, this motherboard doesn't look overloaded with bells and whistles like some competing models. This is typical of Intel, its engineers have always had a sense of proportion in expanding functionality. Unfortunately, this sen...

  • Abstract:  The Intel board is a strange one. While they think a "skull" on the board is cool, which maybe is on Helloween, most of the components are not highend. So you have to pay for the name, but get a board which does work without flaws. We hope Intel will..

  • Overclocking is one of the easiest things to do with P55 Motherboard. While the board’s components can affect the end result, it’s the BIOS that ultimately carries the weight of the action. Perhaps, the next BIOS update will provide the stability to ...
