  • Industrial build quality, Quite speedy
  • Expensive
  • The Survivor is pricey for an 8GB drive. But then, its packed with fast chips, and housed in aircraft-grade aluminium, for the major selling point of the Flash Survivor GT is its sheer toughness. The cap is screw-on, and Corsair claims watertightness ...

  • The Corsair Survivor GT is a very unique kind of flash drive. In terms of outright performance, it is a very good, fast flash drive, easily able to compare with the fastest available at this point of time. But the high speed is not the primary feature ...

  • Abstract:  Unlike most USB Flash Drives in the market the Survivor GT is made out of two parts, the casing and the main drive. As you can on both ends Corsair has placed two shock dampening collars for greater security.

  • Corsair has done it again. The Survivor GT is one of the fastest flash drives available on the market that is also rugged and water resistant. It may not have the absolute fastest read times – it’s close but my OCZ ATV Turbo manages to edge it...

  • Fast reads/writes for all file sizes, wellnigh indestructible.
  • Slight squeak when closing. No bundled encryption software.

  • Heavy duty design, Plenty of capacity, Encryption program
  • Bulky
  • While I didnt back my car over the Survivor to “crash test” it, the drive has a solid feel, and certainly looks like it could stand up to quite a bit of abuse. The water resistance is a nice plus, given that the drive is meant to be carried ar...

  • We believe that Corsair has made a device that will fit the needs of the many. If you don’t fall for the robust aluminum casing you can get yourself a Voyger GT 8GB which will get you the same performance, as it uses the same memory chips. If you wan...
