Overall, the Dell Inspiron 7000 of 17-inch is a very versatile machine, well-made and suitable for anyone. In general, it is free of defects unless the poor portability and allows a fluid use both in the notebook mode and in that the tablet. The multimedia...

This Dell might be the easiest way to carry around a giant touchscreen, but it sacrifices a lot. Dell's slightly smaller, near-identical 15-inch version is less expensive and better equipped for the job...

Large display, Solid build quality, Attractive design
1080p display resolution only, Bulky, Heavy
The first 17-inch convertible laptop is a solid performer and a compelling option for businesses looking to show off their content while on the move. It's just a shame that the Inspiron 17 17000's considerable size and heft will slow you down in the proce...

Even if the touchscreen doesn't interest you, this is a very capable 17-inch laptop at a relatively low price point. Asus' ROG G751 offers similar specs for $1,050, but it's heavier, focused on gaming, and doesn't have a solid state drive. MSI's GS Series...

At the time of writing review Dell Inspiron 17 7778 has not yet entered the retail sales. This is, in general, a lot, so let's just weigh the pros and cons. Thus, the advantages of this model is the nice screen, good keyboard and touchpad. Battery life is...

Fantastic build quality, premium looking. Great sound, decent performance for the most part. USB-C port
Would have been nice to see additional ports added. Screen wasn't as crisp due to the large size. A bit sluggish at times with 5400 RPM HDD instead of SSD
While it was a no brainer to add the Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 to our list of Top Picks for 2016, unfortunately the Inspiron 17 7000 2-in-1 falls just short in its current configuration. If you're looking for a durable, premium looking 2-in-1 laptop/tablet...
different modes possible (tablet, stand, etc.), nice surfaces, solid, very well-built casing, few yet well positioned interfaces, very good keyboard, bright, high-contrast panel, GDDR5 version of the 940MX, quiet, very long battery life
keyboard down in tablet mode, not ideal hinges, weak card reader performance, no maintenance hatch, spongy keyboard, touchscreen's gliding traits not always ideal, very limited outdoor use, GPU throttles clearly during permanent load
Dell's new Inspiron 17 7778 2-in-1 is undoubtedly a somewhat exotic convertible, whose mobility aspects will not be as important as in smaller convertibles purely due to its size and weight. But that is not a drawback since the additional modes typical of...
Short on full-size USB ports, Bulky, heavy for a 2-in-1, No option to upgrade the display to 3K or 4K, Keyfeel is shallow
The Inspiron 17 7000 breaks new ground as the world's first 17-inch 2-in-1, but its real selling point is that of a desktop-replacement laptop, not a hybrid. Read More…...

Booming audio, Display is huge and sharp, Easy to upgrade
Too big for tablet use, No options for a QHD or 4K screen
Overall the Inspiron 7000 package is quite effective, though it's questionable whether a 2-in-1 format makes sense on a device this size. Still, it's nice to have that as an option. Because the 17-inch form factor has become a lot less popular these d...
