Frankly, when put up against competitors, the GT83VR Titan seems downright impractical. For its price, we shouldn't have to anticipate spending more money to draw out this product's true potential – it should be there in the box. This laptop is beset on al...

Chews up any PC game, Packed with I/O options
Uncomfortable keyboard, Dodgy mousepad/numpad, FHD display, Questionable value
While an arguably innovative design, the GT83VR Titan laptop is beset on all sides by options that offer a far stronger value. Seriously research what your five grand could net you before clicking the “buy” button...

The Nahimic 2 app allows you to customize audio, Camera, Most laptops these days ship with 720p webcams although more and more are seeing 1080p webcams instead. The MSI GT83VR is one of these and as far as webcams go, it works great for video conferencing
aside, which to be honest isn't all that bad, this gaming laptop screams when plugged in using the dual power supplies. Even though it's a 1080p display, games can be configured to run at 4K and supersampled down. The MSI GT83VR ripped through every game
The MSI GT83VR 7RF Titan SLI is highly specced out which, at a cost, offers up unparalleled gaming performance from a laptop. Don't let the lower overall score fool you, after all the poor battery performance drags it down. This is one beast of a gaming l...
Insane levels of performance, Mechanical keyboard with CherryMX switches, Great sound system
Expensive, Isn't the most portable laptop, Loud
There are a number of gaming laptops that suit most consumers, but should you require something with a little bit more oomph, you really cannot go wrong with the GT83VR. With the option of GTX 1070 and GTX 1080, as well as different RAM configurations, it...
future-proof equipment (64 GB RAM, etc.), mechanical keyboard with RGB illumination, many maintenance and upgrade options, optional GPU overclocking, outstanding performance, stylish touchpad, Thunderbolt port, practical tools, Blu-ray burner, good sound
SD-card reader does not work reliably (malfunctioning unit?), borderline CPU and GPU temperatures in the stress test, extremely high noise level under load, frequent coil whine in idle mode, SLI hardly benefits in Full HD, very thick and heavy case, no U
Really needs 4K display, Bulky, No programmable macro keys
The MSI GT83VR Titan SLI is a tour-de-force gaming laptop with all the power and features you'd expect out of a $5k price tag, save one. It really needs a 4K display...
When MSI launched the GT80 Titan at CES in 2015, it was a big affair for them. The GT80 Titan really delivered a great system, with plenty of performance, in a relatively quiet design. The GT83VR Titan is certainly an evolution of that, with a slightly di...
Abstract: What price are you willing to pay for unbeatable portable power? The price you'll pay for one of XOTIC PC's renditions of MSI's new über laptop is $5,557, but discerning enthusiasts know the answer is more complicated than that. Anyone in the market for a...

The most powerful laptop we've ever tested. Excellent mechanical keyboard with RGB customizability. Hefty solid build
Includes just a 1080p 60Hz display when two GTX 1080s in SLI can comfortably game at 4K
Enthusiast-desktop-level performance, Packs a real desktop-style mechanical keyboard, Acceptable fan noise while gaming, Loud speakers, and dedicated "Hi-Fi" headphone jack
1080p/60Hz display is way outmatched by SLI graphics, Massive by itself, not counting dual power bricks, No dedicated gaming macro keys, Lacks built-in biometric features
MSI's maxed-out flagship gaming machine is a fantastic beast, packing a full mechanical keyboard with a new kind of keys, wildly fast RAID storage, and, in our test unit, twin GeForce GTX 1080 chips and 64GB of RAM. What it really needs, though, is a 4K...
