  • Abstract:  Despite the eye-watering price, the 85+ 1,050W is a mid-range model in Enermaxs Revolution line. Most of the power is produced by six 12V rails, each rated at a huge 30A, with a combined maximum output of 87A. The number of power connectors on the...

  • Abstract:  Video Review: The Revolution85+ line of power supplies are currently available in wattages ranging from 850 to 1250 (the 1250W model is 220V) . I'll be reviewing the Enermax REVOLUTION85+ 1050W Power Supply. The approximate maximum peek output of the 3.3/5v rail is 170 watts & the 12v is 1044 watts. This PSU meets the 80+ silver, CrossFire & SLI certifications. It also comes with PowerGuard, AirGuard & HeatGuard features. If you're in the market for a high wattage super efficient power supply, this is it! Watch the video to find out more...

  • Abstract:  The only problem I can find in the Enermax Revolution 85+ is that it is rather large. There are already many 1000W units that are 3-4 centimeters shorter. However, such high-wattage PSUs are not usually installed into compact system cases while..

  • Abstract:  Have you ever made a move to pass someone out on the highway only to realize your poor car didnt have much left under the hood and that sad reality was quickly replaced by the dread of seeing oncoming traffic? I had the pleasure of driving a Dodge Vip...

  • my sample hit 88% efficiency... seriously!, too sexy for its box, ripple and noise suppression up there with the very best, very stable voltage regulation,
  • soldering could be better,
  • With the Revolution 85+ series, Enermax comes in like a lion and goes out like a lion. Not only is the 1050W model possibly the most efficient unit of its size on the market to date, nearly everything else about it is drool worthy from the connector co...

  • 1,050W continuous DC output (up to 50°), Very good voltage regulation (±2% on primary outputs), Excellent efficiency across a broad range of loads (up to 91%), Very quiet at all but the highest power levels, Synchronous transformer design for optimal
  • None that I could find
  • Enermax continues to raise the bar with the introduction of their new Revolution85+ power supply units. The Revolution85+ 1,050W exhibited excellent efficiency, very good voltage regulation, with relatively clean DC outputs and quiet operation. And...

  • The Enermax Revolution 1050W came into our testing with big shoes to fill in a cut-throat market segment, but once the dust settled the Revolution was just that; a Revolution. From its upgraded component selection, to its vastly improved DC Output qual...

  • Our expectations for this power supply were very high, but we are happy to say that it met its potential in every way. Beauty as always is in the eye of the beholder, but we do like the appearance of the Revolution 85+. The original sample was far mor...
