  • Being the slimmest isn't an advantage when the Orizon is so heavy. It's laggy in use and is expensive, too ...

  • Slim design / good finish, Organisation options for your library, Easy to use, WiFi connectivity, 150 books preloaded
  • Screen is less contrasted than ebooks that use EInk, No protective cover supplied, No 3G unlike the Kindle, No direct home access button
  • The Bookeen Cybook Orizon is a good alternative. Though it doesn't have 3G connectivity, this Wi-Fi, elegant, well-finished, simple-to-use e-reader is a reliable e-book solution. However, it doesn't have the same quality display as the Sony Reader....

  • Bookeen has tried too hard to bridge the gap between e-book readers and tablets. As nice a reader as the Orizon is, the result is a gadget with unnecessary touchscreen text that has pushed up the price too far. ® More E-book ReadersAmazon Kindle 3Sony...

  • Ultimately the lack of a good integrated bookstore and a reasonably speedy browser made the Bookeen Cybook Orizon a non-starter for me. If you're going to invest in a Wi-Fi-equipped e-reader, the shopping procedure shouldn't send you scurrying for a U...

  • Excellent text options: seven fonts, 12 sizes, Skinny, lightweight e-reader, Intuitive touchscreen and Wi-Fi support
  • Built-in browser is painfully slow, Expensive, No integrated U.S. bookstore
  • The Bookeen Cybook Orizon boasts a first-rate touchscreen e-paper display, but its Wi-Fi connectivity, browser, and integrated bookstore need a makeover for it to succeed. Bookeen Cybook Orizon: Touchscreen Ebook Reader Needs Better Web Access Bookeen...

  • Comes with a protective sleeve Pearly finish is quite attractive Wi-Fi Touchscreen enables note-taking 150 free ebooks included Very crisp screen Very slim and lightweight
  • Could double as a mirror Pricey Motion sensor a shade too sensitive No audio support Book store app has books in French and German only A good percentage of the 150 included ebooks are in French or German No dictionary
  • The Cybook Orizon feels good, works well and looks the business. The price tag is probably going to be the sticking point for most; however, if you are looking for a touchscreen reader, it is most certainly worth a look....
