  • Despite being essentially a remake of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Splinter Cell 3D is still a tremendous achievement. Ubisoft's new additions all work well, and none of the atmosphere or tension of the original is lost. ...

  • Certainly one of the better 3DS launch games to come out of Ubisoft’s portfolio this is a trip down memory lane for Sam Fisher and his stealthy adventures. With a few camera and AI issues occasionally causing problems this is still worth a look. 6.9/10...

  • Abstract:  The new Splinter Cell 3D is a redesign of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Chaos Theory was the third game in the Splinter Cell series and the last to be primarily for the previous generation of consoles. The original trilogy was known for its high graphic...

  • Abstract:  I’ve always wanted to try the Splinter Cell games. In particular, I wanted to play the third game in the series—Chaos Theory—because it was universally lauded, grounded (somewhat) in reality, had some really interesting multiplayer modes, and seemed to...

  • Splinter Cell 3D is a solid, if unremarkable, port of a great game for a console that really would have been better off with a brand new product instead of the limited, and somewhat bland, product it received. The story is still as good as it ever was...

  • One of the bestlooking 3DS games to date; a long and engaging campaign; the touch screen is very intuitive; face buttons do a good job of replicating the second analog stick.
  • No multiplayer; stealthily grabbing enemies can be difficult; going back to the slower style of Splinter Cell is tough after Conviction; it's tough to play the game in short spurts; you can experience the same story on consoles for a far lower price.

  • Despite its many shortcomings, Splinter Cell 3D is still fun to play. And that's what matters most. It's not even close to being as good as Chaos Theory on Xbox, but then again, I couldn't play that on a plane. If the AI were even passable and not laug...

  • Abstract:  As I work my way through the 3DS catalog, I'm coming to a very distressing final thoughts: the 3DS-make is the new Wii-Make. Need evidence? Rayman 3D was nothing more than Rayman 2 with 3D visuals. The most-anticipated title for the 3DS is the 3D remake of...
