Wonderfully complicated, detailed world. Nice split between factions allows diverse gameplay. Compelling characters with enjoyable narratives. New units and building animations are cleverly done.
GUI leaves a bit to be desired. Campaign mode is a bit lacklustre once again, with too many fetch missions. The visual overhaul to the theme lacks originality found with previous Anno titles.
