Some of the best military science fiction in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. There is a lot of really great emotional content.
Writing style can be a bit irritating even if you’ve read the rest of the series. Could use stronger use of imagery.Overall: It’s a 1016-page emotional rush in four books.
