  • An interesting multiplayer experience that works better than we thought it would on the PS2; excellent graphics make driving around Oahu a real treat.
  • A lot of repetition makes certain races rather dull; certain aspects from other versions are absent here.
  • Solid racing and a good online premise save this game from being a ho-hum racer. It may not be jaw dropping and great, but it is good and thats all that some games need to be.

  • Blurs the line between online and offline play; relative ease of navigating; solid and user-friendly graphics.
  • Lack of character options and customization; some questionable driving physics; AI can be iffy.
  • The Test Drive series has been around longer than a lot of gamers have. The franchise has had you airing it out in traditional racing, barreling around in rally cars, and even banging away in demolition derbies. Its been handled by several publishers ...

  • Test Drive Unlimited for PS2 is a pretty fun game, and seems to have a decent number of players online at any given time. These numbers can’t compare to the PC or Xbox360 servers, but have good numbers for the PS2. A lot got removed from the game in...

  • Abstract:  When Test Drive Unlimited appeared on the Xbox 360 last year claiming to be a new breed of racing game, a MOOR (massive open online racing game) to be exact, it came to the table with an impressive array of features promising to change the way we look ...

  • Abstract:  When Test Drive Unlimited first released for Xbox 360 last fall we praised it for its seamless integration between the multiplayer and single player games, vast streaming series of roads, and great community features. Unsurprisingly, the game received ...
