Abstract: A review of the accompanying movie can be found here – Ratchet & Clank – the movie review.I've been a huge fan of the Ratchet and Clank franchise since I played the first iteration on the PS2 back in 2002. It feels like a long time ago now and for a while...

Abstract: Released to coincide with the forthcoming movie, Ratchet & Clank could have been a cash grab – a cynical HD reskin of Insomniac Games's classic action adventure. It could have been churned out fast to capitalise on all the goodwill and publicity surroundi...

Can feel dated, Struggles slightly in the early stages
More than just a remake, this feels like a lap of honour for Ratchet and Clank, with all the frantic action, bizarre weaponry and cheeky innuendo a fan could wish for. Being picky, you might say that it sticks a little close to the old templates, but at l...

An extremely fun, fast paced, colourful and beautiful adventure. Full of action, variety and a good sense of humour (though it's not for everybody) that will leave you with a smile on your face
The comedy can be cringeworthy, that's subjective though. Ammo is few and far between quite a bit of the time, forcing you to use inferior weapons, and changing weapons, beyond your four quickselect ones, breaks the flow a little too much
