  • Fast and satisfying action, Tons of unlockable secrets, Exciting fourplayer competition, Enthusiastic announcer with a wide assortment of catchphrases.
  • No online play, New modes aren't very interesting.

  • Abstract:  He's on fire, again!I don't think you are legally allowed to call yourself a gamer if you don't have some sort of fond memories of playing NBA Jam in the arcades or consoles back in the day. Well it has been over a decade and EA Sports has taken over t...

  • Abstract:  I still have my fingers crossed that arcade sports experiences a resurgence. It has definitely made some promising rumblings but it hasn't exploded yet. NBA Jam is a great leap in the right direction though; maybe it'll be the catalyst that...

  • Abstract:  Arcades have had their share of successful sports games, but before the heyday of Golden Tee or Big Buck Hunter, there was NBA Jam, the ultimate in simplified, friendship-jeopardizing gameplay. EA's new NBA Jam wrests itself from the hands of developer...

  • A return to roots for one of the most enjoyable, outrageous sports games out there, NBA Jam expertly captures the over-the-top nature of the arcade classic...

  • Abstract:  Creating a game based on a legendary (but vintage) original is no easy feat. You simultaneously risk alienating people that played (and loved) the original, as well as isolating yourself from any potential new audience that doesn't identify with it. Yo...
