  • While it may be a bit more gung-ho and slightly less atmospheric than the previous games, Silent Hill Homecoming is a worthy addition to the series and is guaranteed to make you jump at least once. 6.9/10Print this pageUser reviews (2)Share this pageNo...

  • What could have been a fantastic surivival horror game, Silent Hill: Homecoming is hampered by lacklustre gameplay and a linear story. Cameron Lewis ...

  • Abstract:  Halloween is almost upon us. I can now officially devote myself to playing eerie games and watching horror movies throughout October to get in the mood for All Hallows Eve. Thankfully, Konami and Double Helix Games kick off the month with Silent Hill: Hom...

  • Revamped controls, revamped combat system, sound and music is still atmospheric and creepy, graphics at times are a high point, interesting story, some of the best voice acting the series has had yet.
  • Can be too easy, soundtrack for songs with lyrics really don’t work as well as others, story is quite often straight out of Jacob’s Ladder, graphics usually aren’t that great.

  • Abstract:  On the surface, Silent Hill: Homecoming is a dark and twisted homage to the series classic roots. However, beneath the thick layer of fog are a number of troubling issues that will only serve to push away the devoted faithful that call Silent Hill the...

  • Excellent environmental lighting and shadow effects build a fantastic atmosphere, Intense boss battles.
  • Loses the psychological horror factor that the series is so wellknown for, A poorly paced story that plods along for half the game before turning around.
  • Eye-catching visuals and creepy atmosphere arent enough to make up for this games poor pacing, cheap tricks, and muddled story. ...
