  • High-speed streaming, Genuine HDTV playback and outputs, Simple to set up, Minus
  • No wireless option, No Homeplug adapter built in
  • As ever more TV and other media finds its way into the home from the internet and on to a PC, finding a means to display stored video files on your TV screen and other screens in the home is essential. And that means streaming video (and music, and pict...

  • If you want to stream HD to your TV then this is probably the best option weve seen to date, short of setting up a PC and plugging it straight into your TV. The networking still isnt perfect in terms of speed, though its incredibly close. HD encoded...

  • Compact slim line design, decent streaming performance, impressive HD performance
  • No wireless, issues with the interface, some problems with video file playback
  • If you’re looking to stream HD and aren’t put off by the issues we’ve highlighted below, Zyxel’s DMA-1000 is a reasonably priced solution that should suit

  • After some deliberation, ZyXel settled on a £130 price tag for the Streamer DMA-1000 as we went to press. However, we think most people will look for Wi-Fi on a product of this type and consequently pass on the DMA-1000. Lincoln Spector Lowest online ...

  • Simple interface; good video playback quality; easy to set up
  • Doesnt work with BBC iPlayer content; no support for subtitles; no Wi-Fi
  • The DMA-1000s low price, broad file format support and easy-to-use interface make this high-definition media streamer a decent budget option. Still, its a shame it cant play DRM content such as the videos you can now download using the BBC’s iPlaye...

  • Impressive streaming performance for both regular and HD content HDMI connectivity Compact, easy to set up and use
  • File management interface awkward for large video and photo collections No DRM support Issues with unsupported formats
  • This is a compact no-nonsense solution from Zyxel that streams admirably but lets itself down with some media access and compatibility issues.

  • Very low price, Easy to set up
  • No WiFi, Lessthanexceptional sound
  • This compact, easy-to-set-up streamer lacks Wi-Fi, and rival streamers deliver better audio output.

  • Abstract:  Although ZyXEL is new to digital media streaming, the firm knows a thing or two about network devices. It isn’t surprising, then, that the soon-to-be-released DMA 1000 looks more like one of ZyXEL’s wireless routers than a piece of hi-fi ...

  • viele Anschlussmöglichkeiten, viele abspielbare Formate, Optik und Verarbeitung, hervorragende Bildqualität, geringer Stromverbrauch, tolle Fernbedienung,
  • recht hoher Preis (ca. 150 Euro), Lieferumfang (HDMIKabel fehlt), fehlende WPA/WPA2 WLANVerschlüsselung
