The sound lacks bass punch, and can tend to be too bright with music, especially at volume. Lacks both Dolby and DTS processors, bass or treble controls, or controls on the unit itself
The Cambridge Audio TV5 sound base produces detailed, natural sound, but comes up short on features and lacks the bass impact of competitors....

Too few audio inputs, Not enough features, Slightly overpriced
The Cambridge Audio TV5 is a no-frills sound base with a decent sound and top-tier construction. It's missing some major features and lacks a sufficient number of ports for the price, however, making it difficult to recommend outright....
Big, powerful sound, Punchy bass, Dynamic and detailed, Digital and analogue inputs, Good price, Refined, well balanced delivery with movies and music,
Remote a little basic, No HDMI,
Cambridge Audio describes the TV5 as a “step up in size and sound” from the TV2, and they're right on both counts. The extra driver and bigger chassis do wonders for the TV5's performance. If you can accommodate the TV5's larger size, you'll hear the diffe...

Great sound, Support for aptX Bluetooth, Easy to setup, Well made
No HDMI connections, Could be deeper
