The editors liked

  • The PicoBrew Pico automatically brews beer at the push of a button and goes through all of the stages of traditional brewing. You can buy a wide variety of prepackaged brewing ingredients called PicoPaks to use with the Pico

The editors didn't like

  • Set up and clean up with the Pico isn't much simpler than homebrewing. You don't actually save money over buying a six pack of microbrew
  • And the using machine isn't foolproof -- you can still easily contaminate your beer
