The Breville Slow Cooker with EasySear is a good looking appliance. You can put the inner pot on your stovetop for efficient searing and sautéing
There's no timer or warm mode, so you have to be home to shut it off manually (otherwise, it will just continue to cook). It cooks much faster than most slow cookers -- you will have to adjust your cooking time way down from the recipe suggestion
This $129 Breville slow cooker is more high maintenance than we'd like. If you want something that more reliably sticks to the expected cook time and traditional slow cooker features, consider another model.
