The editors liked

  • The 4GB hard disk
  • Dedicated music controls
  • Wi-Fi
  • Large
  • Sharp screen
  • 3G phone which packs a 4GB hard drive. Itll function as a stand alone MP3 player with 3.5mm headphone socket and hold switch. Will play DRM tracks too.

The editors didn't like

  • Chunky size and weight
  • The slide down controls mean the number keys have had to be down-sized. The hefty specs also mean its a bit on the bulky side and theres no flash on the camera.

  • Abstract:  METAL GURU - My-wow-oh-yeah! It’s taken so long for the N91 to appear that Nokia has launched two further generations of its Nseries in the meantime. Has the delay dulled our anticipation or has this music virtuoso been worth holding out for? It fee...

  • Abstract:  3G phone with 4GB of music storage: Nokias music phone, the N91, is big in two senses. It has a huge (for a phone) 4GB of internal storage, and physically its a large beastie. Dealing with the latter characteristic first, dimensions of 113mm ...

  • Jam-packed with the latest mobile multimedia goodness while the music player closely matches the Apple iPod range for usability.
  • Stuff this in your pocket and youll either get admiring glances or cautioned for public lewdness. Too many imperfections for such an expensive handset.
  • The N91 is a cracking music player but owning the phone is all down to whether youre willing to accommodate its sizable flaws

  • Excellent sound quality, Nice, sturdy, durable stainless steel design
  • Earpiece and ringtone volume could be higher, Keypad is just acceptable
  • Music lovers wont be disappointed. Phone lovers will also like it, but the N91 is a melomaniacs device first....
