Brilliant build quality and design
AMOLED screen is bright and colourful
Good connectivity options
The Nokia X7 features a distinctive
Angular design. It won't suit everybody
But it certainly helps the X7 to stand out. There's no doubting the quality of this handset
With strong materials used and a brushed stainless steel backplate to the phone. The big glass screen also gives it a premium feel. The X7 is one of the largest in the company's smartphone range
Boasting a 4-inch screen. Using
Excellent metallic finish
Decent display
Good multimedia features
Including the camera
Good looking handset
Massive display
Excellent snapper
Metal chassis
Topnotch sat nav
Solid hardware
Big screen
Good sound output
Better web browser
OLED-powered contrast ratio
Quirky design
Great camera
Good battery life
Impressive call quality

Removing SIM and microSD cards is awkward
Under-powered CPU
Symbian Anna needs scrapping
Symbian ^3 Anna is an improvement over previous iterations
But it still lags behind Android and iOS. It doesn't feel as slick to use
And the Ovi Store is a long way behind in terms of apps and quality. The Nokia X7 gets an 8-megapixel camera
But as with some of Nokia's other Symbian ^3 handsets it's not everything we were hoping for. It does without the Carl Zeiss optics found on the Nokia N8
Often slows down with games or even when just using the menus
It's an okay phone with very good multimedia performance but kept down by an OS that's seriously showing its age. Look at the Samsung Galaxy S LCD or the LG Optimus Black instead. ...

Overall I really really like the whole look and design of the X7, it looks stylish while at the same time looking very professional. But there needs to be alot of improvements, firstly the camera has a fixed focus which I dislike, we should be able to ...
As usual, Nokia's hardware is superb, with excellent design and well-crafted construction, but its Symbian operating system is a pain to use and lacks a well-stocked app store ...
This has been one of the hardest reviews I have ever had to write, the trouble is the Symbian operating system, it just lacks the intuitivity of modern mobile operating systems and sometimes has you wondering whether you lost signal, didn't touch an icon ...
The hardware of Nokia N7 is essentially 2 years out of date at launch and the Symbian operating system unfortunately no longer has what it takes to compete with Android and iOS due to the lack of polish and innovation. Nokia has chosen to move to Windo...
Brilliant build quality and design; AMOLED screen is bright and colourful; good connectivity options
Removing SIM and microSD cards is awkward; under-powered CPU; Symbian Anna needs scrapping
The Nokia X7's exterior is a treat for the eyes, but its internal components are a different story. A weak processor and outdated Symbian operating system mean this smart phone isn't a match for the iPhone or many Android devices....
Good looking handset; massive display; excellent snapper; metal chassis; topnotch sat nav
Clunky operating system that is unintuitive; 680MHz chip pretty weak for the price range
Pros: Good looking handset; massive display; excellent snapper; metal chassis; top-notch sat nav Cons: Clunky operating system that is unintuitive; 680MHz chip pretty weak for the price range Verdict: While the excellent snapper and top build quality w...
