The Sony Xperia T is one of the very best smartphones out there for multimedia. Its HD screen is huge and absolutely gorgeous
With wide viewing angles and bright colours
It also takes up most of the entire front face of the phone as Sony’s sensibly worked the Android navigation buttons into the display
As Samsung did with the hit Galaxy Nexus phone. Its 13 megapixel camera is no slouch either

The handset packs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor compared to its rivals with quad-core
The right-hand side of device feels a little overloaded with buttons and dust covers
Short battery life – 7 hours talk time
Design
Upon first picking up the Xperia T
Poor design
Average battery life
Some may find the software over-complicated
Not the latest Android Jelly Bean software
Processor could have been faster
Lots of bloatware apps
The design is a bit on the chunky side
Positioning of buttons is irritating
Battery isn't great
UI could be tidier
Only Ice Cream Sandwich
Timescape not great
Unimpressive design
Wellexecuted but unexciting features

While the Sony Xperia T sports one of the absolute finest displays you can find anywhere on the planet right now
It’s let down by a rather uninspiring casing otherwise
The 9.4mm profile is rather chunky (particularly disappointing when the battery doesn’t last quite as long as rivals) and the matte finish picks up fingerprints like a crime scene investigator. And like the Xperia S before it
Abstract: The Xperia T is the latest Android smartphone from Sony and the company has been marketing the new phone heavily as ‘the Bond phone' due to its appearance in Skyfall, the latest 007 film. It's not garishly designed. It's understated with a black plasti...
The Sony Xperia T is a solid effort from Sony – it has a decent screen and camera but lacks the excitement we expected from a 'Bond Phone'. Our sample didn't even include the Bond wallpaper used in the phone's marketing. In short the handset doesn't seem...
Abstract: It has been quite a while since I last had the opportunity to check out a handset bearing the Sony name. In fact it was back when Sony was in partnership with Ericsson for the development of its handsets. ...
Fine screen, Ice Cream Sandwich, powerful dualcore processor,
Not a big improvement on the Xperia S
The Sony Xperia T nudges just ahead of its sister handset the Xperia S with its updated OS, slightly bigger screen and a camera that's just a teensy bit more advanced. Bond may have offed 006 in GoldenEye, but the T doesn't look like it's quite ready t...
Overall, Sony's Xperia T is an attractive phone with great camera and a beautiful screen, but it lacks Jelly Bean and, in the hand, it seems not so much the 007 of the smartphone market, more a 005½. ® More Handset ReviewsLG VuA History of the Smartph...

Abstract: Sony has had an impressive run of late, releasing a stream of high-quality phones at all price points. It€s now aiming for its biggest launch yet with the Xperia T – a feature-packed Android device billed as its new flagship smartphone. Even James Bond ha...
Starting with the build quality of the Xperia T we have another device from Sony which feels very good in the hand. The curved back sits well in our hand and the handset weight is spread well which makes one handed operation easy. As always it is good to ...
Abstract: Sony announced that the Xperia S was going on sale during Mobile World Congress back in February, however we are now in October and the S has been replaced as the flagship camera phone by the Xperia T. The Xperia T really is a powerful high end smartph...
