The Sony Xperia T is one of the very best smartphones out there for multimedia. Its HD screen is huge and absolutely gorgeous
With wide viewing angles and bright colours
It also takes up most of the entire front face of the phone as Sony’s sensibly worked the Android navigation buttons into the display
As Samsung did with the hit Galaxy Nexus phone. Its 13 megapixel camera is no slouch either

The editors didn't like
The handset packs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor compared to its rivals with quad-core
The right-hand side of device feels a little overloaded with buttons and dust covers
Short battery life – 7 hours talk time
Design
Upon first picking up the Xperia T
Poor design
Average battery life
Some may find the software over-complicated
Not the latest Android Jelly Bean software
Processor could have been faster
Lots of bloatware apps
The design is a bit on the chunky side
Positioning of buttons is irritating
Battery isn't great
UI could be tidier
Only Ice Cream Sandwich
Timescape not great
Unimpressive design
Wellexecuted but unexciting features
Battery life
Camera
Not the latest version of Android
Only 16GB internal storage
No Android Jelly Bean
Mediocre battery performance
Similar to earlier model
While the Sony Xperia T sports one of the absolute finest displays you can find anywhere on the planet right now
It’s let down by a rather uninspiring casing otherwise
The 9.4mm profile is rather chunky (particularly disappointing when the battery doesn’t last quite as long as rivals) and the matte finish picks up fingerprints like a crime scene investigator. And like the Xperia S before it
Abstract: The Sony Xperia T is Sony's new flagship phone, packing in a 13MP camera, NFC, and Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It's also going to feature in the next Bond film, but is it more license to kill or license to ill? Design There's no two ways about it, we're n...
The Xperia T is a gorgeously designed phone that performs well even with “just” a dual-core processor. It has a gorgeous display, loud loudspeakers, a solid build, and a nice soft touch backpanel. Unfortunately and based on my experience, images in inad...

The Sony Xperia T is a solid effort from Sony – it has a good screen and camera but lacks the excitement we expected from a 'Bond Phone'. Our sample didn’t even include the Bond wallpaper used in the phone’s marketing. In short the handset doesn't see...
Abstract: Despite its status as a global electronics giant, Sony remains on the periphery of the smartphone world, with a tiny share of the market outside its native Japan. In Europe, it’s struggled to make a dent in Samsung and Apple’s dominance. In the U.S., S...
Even though it's officially James Bond's phone, we found it hard to get excited about the Xperia T. It's a great phone performance-wise, and the screen and camera are among the best we've seen, but it struggles to stand out from the crowd with its dull bl...
Fast camera with dedicated shutter key, Sturdy design with very easy card slots access, Strong and clean loudspeaker, Helpful Smart App popups
Bad screen reflectance and viewing angles, Call quality should be better, Volume rocker is placed uncomfortably, LED notification light is too small
The Sony Xperia T doesn’t offer groundbreaking features compared to the other flagships out there, but it is a pretty compelling package nonetheless. The sturdy arched design will appeal to many, and the 13MP camera will let you capture those imprompt...
Abstract: Remove the packaging and all the extras and there's nothing particularly Bond-like about the Sony Xperia T, except that it is a very good-looking phone in a sleek, almost tactical-looking design. For better or worse, Sony didn't even etch the 007 logo anyw...
Abstract: Sony has just taken the wraps of its latest flagship Android phone, the Xperia T. It includes a 13-megapixel camera, a large 4.6in screen and NFC connectivity as its key features. The Xperia T also appears to head in a different design direction to many o...
