  • 28 mm wideangle, Great touchscreen display, Excellent video in 1080i
  • Uses unusual 2.5 mm mic input, Autofocus is quiet, but not very fast, Very average sensitivity, Not much use for the 24p mode, No progressive zoom
  • The GH2 produces excellent quality HD video which looks great in wide-angle. Its autofocus struggles a bit when the subject moves and a 3.5 mm mic input would be a better choice. You can still turn out very good films with it though....

  • The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH2 is a Micro Four Thirds camera that offers a plethora of features for advanced photographers to play with, but it also has an automatic mode so that inexperienced users can also get in on all the fun. Its image quality is gr...

  • Hugely Versatile, One-touch HD Video recording, Articulated touchScreen, Fast performance, Close to SLR image quality
  • Slightly cramped feel, Expensive, Slightly fiddly touchscreen interface, Image quality not quite up to a DSLR
  • Flick the on/off switch that encircles the shooting mode wheel, along with a second switch allowing for the swapping of its drive modes, and the GH2 powers up more or less instantaneously. And as mentioned earlier, autofocus is exceptionally fast, while s...

  • Incredibly fast autofocus, impressive image quality to ISO 1600
  • 2.5mm mic port, on the expensive side, plasticy exterior
  • The GH2 has the best contrast detection autofocus system of any camera available on the market. Great movie options and a touchscreen LCD are certainly high points, but a plasticy-feeling build quality and relatively high price point may keep it from u...
