This probably sounds obvious
But the iPad mini really is mini. So much so that you can hold it with one hand. This is true of its seven inch rivals as well as the iPad mini
But it’s still worth bearing in mind
A 7.9-inch iPad is much smaller compared to a 9.7-inch iPad than it sounds in paper. Close to half the size
In fact.This
Combined with Apple’s epic design
Makes it a truly lustworthy
Like the iPad

Beautifully built
Battery life is impressive

We could grumble at the lack of Retina Display
The iPad mini’s display packs in the same 1024x768 pixels as the original 2010 iPad
And purists will spot the extra grain and fuzz around the edge of text. But HD movies still look great
And the portability more than makes up for those rough edges and visible pixels. Your technophobic family certainly won’t spot them
They’ll be too busy playing A
No Retina Display means a lack of detail
Expensive compared to the Nexus 7
Ageing processor
Relatively low resolution screen
Not as good value as competing tablets
Lower screen resolution and CPU horsepower than we would expect
Excellent Form Factor, design and build quality, Fantastic battery life, Very portable and practical
Lack of Retina display and lower resolution will be a deal breaker for some, Price higher than anticipated, Firstgeneration device, lots to improve on
When I was testing the iPad mini this weekend, I pitted it against my 11-inch MacBook Air and third-generation iPad to see what device I would use more around the house and would take out on the road to do some work on. The clear winner was the iPad mini...

Abstract: Does the world need a newer, smaller iPad that's practically the same price as the existing iPad 2? I mean, looking at it on paper, the iPad mini uses the same hardware as the iPad 2 — the same processor, same amount of RAM, same screen resolution — and i...

Very thin, very light, easy to hold in one hand, 10 hour battery life, awesome fit and finish. Beautiful, magical to handle. Stereo speakers.
No Retina display. iSight camera suspect. Corners cut on power adapter. Some iPhone apps at 2x may not look great. More expensive than most had hoped
The iPad mini is a device that cries out for a clear understanding of how it will be used. And accepted for what it is capable of and designed for. It's not simply a matter of deciding whether you want a 9.7 or a 7.9-inch screen. The iPad mini has about h...
battery life means I'm not having panic attacks when I'm not near a wall plug
Gamers who are unimpressed with the iPad 2's performance will remain unimpressed with the iPad mini, May feel more cramped when typing on-screen in landscape mode
Super skinny construction, Takes good photos & videos for a tablet, Stellar battery life
Low resolution display
In the moment that the iPad mini was announced to feature a starting price point of $330, we were left wondering in confusion as to why? Factoring in its hardware specs and all, it would lead anyone to believe that this latest iPad is rather over-bloa...
