  • Complex without being arcane or obscure, SimCity is a great introduction to the genre. Watching a well-planned city run on its own is satisfying and rewarding.
  • Empty regions make SimCity’s heavy use of multiplayer annoying, and a flicker in Internet connection will lead to lost progress and wasted time. Busy menus are a chore to navigate for the first few hours.

  • What at first seems to be a smart handheld conversion turns into a cramped and annoying attempt to DS-ify a classic. It's still SimCity enough for the hardcore SimCity fan, but casual city builders should leave it well alone....

  • Abstract:  The first time you play SimCity should be a moment you remember for the rest of your life. The fascination that grows as you realise the connection you have to those poor souls living down in your metropolis, is a unique and compelling game experience....

  • Abstract:  Wed all like to fancy ourselves amateur civil engineers, cocking a snook at ill-advised construction projects, complicated rezoning ordinances, and downright maddening tax laws. After all, who doesnt think they could manage a city better than those s...
