The editors didn't like

  • The touch controls simply aren't responsive enough for more complicated actions such as skipping through multiple tracks. I used them for quickly pausing or resuming my music
  • But for the most part I'd rely on my music player for anything more demanding
  • It's pricier than the Bose
  • While the sound quality is excellent for Bluetooth
  • It's lacking that little bit of extra sparkle and definition (Sennheiser's own Momentum II Wireless sounds better)
  • Midrange can be a touch harsh
  • Touch control is finicky
  • Expensive
  • Unresponsive touch controls
  • No battery notification
  • Noise cancellation could be better.
  • Slightly rich bass
  • In-house competition
  • ANC bettered by Bose
  • Very slight hardness to mids
  • Awkward switch locations
  • Noise cancellation doesn't quite match Bose
  • Pricey
  • Some volume limits
  • Noise cancelling less effective used on its own
  • Quite Pricey

  • Touch sensitive trackpad, Easy on/off controls, Good build quality
  • With such top-notch specifications and a rather high price tag of Rs 29,990, we expected the Sennheiser PX 550 to be great at everything. But in the end it left us with a mixed bag of feelings, while the noise cancellation was very nice, the bass we felt...
